OUR REGULAR WEEKLY MEETINGS
Meetings are held weekly, normally at Donnington Valley Hotel, and Rotarians are encouraged to attend regularly. Our club normally meets on Mondays in the early evening (sometimes called a "twilight" meeting) at 6 pm for 6.15 and we like to finish by 7.30, depending on the nature of the presentation. We commence with dinner, followed by a speaker on a variety of topics, who normally has about 25 minutes for a presentation. On fifth Mondays and occasionally on other occasions we meet at 7 p.m. for 7.30 with our partners and guests for longer presentations, meetings which also have a social element as well.
Regular weekly meetings promote acquaintance and fellowship. Through this fellowship Rotarians find the inspiration to serve the community.
Social events of various types are also arranged from time to time.
